# Terms & Conditions

**Last updated: 27 August 2026**

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through lidrigmoto.co (the "Site"), operated by Adam Lynch trading as Lidrig Moto ("Lidrig Moto", "we", "us"). By placing an order through the Site, you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of England and Wales, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

## 1. About Us

Lidrig Moto is a sole trader business based in Worcestershire, England. You can contact us at lidrigmoto@gmail.com. Our postal address is available on request and is provided on order confirmations and dispatch documentation.

## 2. Products

Each Lidrig is handmade individually from natural vegetable-tanned leather. Minor variations in grain, colour, markings, and finish are inherent to natural leather and handcraft, and are a feature of the product, not a defect. The product you receive may differ slightly in appearance from photographs on the Site.

Vegetable-tanned leather changes in appearance and character with use, including darkening, softening, and developing creases and patina. These changes are inherent to the material and do not constitute defects.

Products are made and sold in limited runs. Listing of a product on the Site is not a guarantee of availability.

## 3. Orders

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch for any reason, including stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud; if we do, you will be refunded in full.

You must provide accurate delivery and contact details. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect information you provide.

## 4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not currently VAT registered and no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

Payment is taken at the time of order through the payment methods offered at checkout. If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price.

For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes levied by the destination country.

## 5. Delivery

We dispatch from England via tracked postal services. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are shown at checkout or on the product page. These are estimates, not guarantees; we are not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs once the order has been dispatched.

Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full.

## 6. Cancellation and Returns (Consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer in the UK you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, notify us in writing (email is sufficient) within that period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty. You must take reasonable care of the goods; we may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or, if earlier, receiving proof that you have sent them back, and include standard outbound delivery charges (but not any premium delivery upgrade).

**Custom and personalised products:** Products made to your specification or personalised at your request (including custom-tier Lidrigs) are exempt from the right to cancel, except where faulty.

## 7. Faulty Goods

If a product is faulty, does not match its description, or is not of satisfactory quality, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including (within 30 days of delivery) the right to reject the goods for a full refund, and thereafter rights to repair or replacement. Contact us at lidrigmoto@gmail.com and we will resolve it. Return postage for faulty goods is covered by us.

Changes to the leather described in Section 2, and wear resulting from use, are not faults.

## 8. Product Use and Safety

The Lidrig is designed and intended solely for carrying a single motorcycle helmet while off the motorcycle. It is not a riding accessory and must not be used while operating a motorcycle or any other vehicle.

The Lidrig is not a safety device, restraint, or load-bearing item beyond its stated purpose. It must not be used to secure, suspend, or carry any item other than one motorcycle helmet, and must not be attached to a moving vehicle or a person operating one.

Each Lidrig is load-tested to 10kg. This figure reflects testing conditions and does not constitute a guarantee against failure arising from misuse, modification, wear, or use beyond the product's intended purpose.

Inspect your Lidrig regularly, including the wire mechanism and stitching, and discontinue use if damage is found.

## 9. Limitation of Remedy and Liability

In the event of product failure, our liability is limited to, at our option, repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price of the product. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from product failure, including damage to helmets, clothing, or other property, however caused, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury arising from misuse of the product, use contrary to the instructions in Section 8, or modification of the product.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

## 10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including the LIDRIG name, logo, product designs, photography, and copy — is the property of Adam Lynch and is protected by registered design rights, trademark rights, and copyright. The Lidrig product design is a registered design (UK Design No. 6534876). No content may be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written consent.

## 11. Website Use

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate and available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. Product colours may display differently depending on your screen.

## 12. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available on the Site.

## 13. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts where the law requires.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
